It has been a few YEARS since I have posted. Alot to do because I could not log into my blog, and some to do with facebook. Seems as though EVERYONE has one and it's easier to update and post pictures there than here. Anyway, I am back. Not sure how often I will get to post, but I will try to be a little more faithful.
This year finds the girls turning SIX (on Feb.2)! Time has flown by that's for sure. They are in Kindergarten and LOVE it! They are both doing very well. They are still only a little over a pound apart which boggles my mind seeing as they don't like the same things to eat and Kaylee clearly eats more (most of the time). They celebrated their birthday at Jokers with most of their classmates, and then had a small

They are still only a little over a pound apart which boggles my mind seeing as they don't like the same things to eat and Kaylee clearly eats more (most of the time). They celebrated their birthday at Jokers with most of their classmates, and then had a small
family party at grammy's. The girl's insisted on a LPS cake but we couldn't find one we liked anywhere, so we made one ourselves (bought the cake, and we just decorated it). Overall it was a good birthday for them. My grandmother made the girls dresses with matching baby doll dresses which they love. They put them on immediately and didn't want to take them off. This pretty much sums up the update on the girls. Still growing and still healthy. We do have an apt. for Kaylee's birthmark in Portland in March. Looking forward to seeing what they have to say about it. Kaylee has no desire to have it removed. She says she will not be Kaylee
without it and then no one will be able to tell them apart. I
think because she feels the way she does that we will just see
what they have to say about it. They have to do tests to see what exactly they are dealing with in terms of blood vessels as well. The Dr. says it looks as though she will be able to have it removed but they will have to see what it underneath to see how in depth it will have to be. Kaylee was very excited to find a little boy with the exact same birthmark as her the other day. This was the first thing she said to me when she saw him. I love that this doesn't bother her as I was afraid it would. I'm sure as she gets older she will decide to
have it removed but as of right now, she is happy as am I.
Toya turned TWELVE in Nov. Truly amazing that I have a child this OLD!
She is old enough to go for a week to Indiana and a week to
Pennsylvania with our church. I'm not sure I'm ready for it and neither
is she, but I think she will enjoy it when she's there. 6 1/2 years and she
will be a SENIOR in high school. We celebrated her birthday party at a
hotel in N.H. with her closest friends. They had a blast! This year she ran track (came in 5th in the championship race), played soccer, and is currently in vball. She has become quit the young lady.
This brings us to Jordan. Jordan will be 9 in April. He is currently in 2nd grade. Not too much has been going on with Jordan. He just finished his last bball game and has really come a long way there. He also did soccer this summer and loved it as well. I think he prefers soccer over bball. He continues to grow ALOT! He is getting ready to go into a size 12 in pants, and he's not even 9 yet!!! He takes after his dad, thankfully!
I will end with this. I am currently the assistant coach of our vball team at CCA. My sister is the coach. Our girls are currently seated second and finished the season 8-2. We are very proud of them. They have worked hard that's for sure. We go to quarter finals this Friday. I also do Kindergarten gym class and am a substitute teacher at the school. I also volunteer in the ymca child care room. All my kids are in school and yet I am busier than ever! Doug is still working at the same place but last year got a raise so he cut his hours back to be home more. He is currently home for supper every night except Friday and Saturday. We definitely enjoy having him around more. That sums up our life for the past 2 years. I hope to be updating more often now.
