tonight we had a national night out in one of our towns nearby. basically, it is a night for kids to get to know the local police and firemen. it was supposed to start at 5:30, but we got there at 5 hoping that we could start early, but it wasn't set up yet. the nice thing about this is that EVERYTHING is free. they gave out hot dogs, drinks, chips, and popocorn for food. then they had a station where they did identification kits for the kids. they swabbed all the kids for their dna and created a disk that has their pictures on it (pictures in slideshow). they also had a bounce house, and a rock climbing wall. the kids got to tour a firetruck (really they just sat in it), and got a ton of free goodies. they really had a blast, and once again, EVERYTHING was free!!! after, we went to the park for about a half hour. well, that is all for now. here is the slideshow:
P.S. The pictures from the last post are up again, not sure what happened!

looks like everyone has lots of fun. it's help that it's free. too. I like the idea of kits with informarion on each child. looks like we wont't be able to go to Boston. it did sound like it would be fun...but we are doing the air show.
i love the girls hair pretties. looks like the night out was alot of fun. thats is yet another good thing about living in maine-they do not have anything like that down here.
Thanks so much for all your sweet comments! And I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only mom who has misplaced precious pictures. I hope they'll turn up one day, too, but I won't get my hopes up! Have a great day!!!
So Toya did the rock wall I see...sweet. Looks like she went up pretty far.
