on friday we went to friendly's with grammy, and then did the usual shopping that we do on fridays. so really there was nothing too great to report from friday.
on saturday was the party. we didn't have too many guests as it was really a last minute thing, but the girls had fun and that's all that counts. they got lots of babies and played with all of them...lol. they got doll strollers and clothes, and a trampoline, and the train. i think they are actually a little small for the train as it goes better with someone a little heavier. they did so good with the train and willingly let caleb (the little boy i babysit) ride as much as he wanted. i was so proud of how they shared. they truly are growing up, and are such good girls! the girls had cake and ice cream and didn't even get too messy. here are some pics from the party:
notice kaylee on the right, she knows how to handle twins ~ holding one in her arm and feeding the other with her other hand :). Kelsey just stacks them on top of each other...lol :)

now for the news you have all been waiting for....the stats (located above their two yr. pictures)! first one last look back: it started with this...a routine ultrasound at 5 mo. nothing abnormal at all, only one baby was ever heard at all previous appts. we wanted to find out the sex of the baby, but got another surprise, there were two:
it's a little hard to see, but the top is two heads together, in the middle one is kelsey (head to the left and face up), and bottom is Kaylee (head to the right and face down)
the girls when they were born: Kaylee (L ~ 4 lbs. 5 oz. 18 in.) and Kelsey (R ~ 5 lbs. 18 1/4 in.)
1 yr. old: Kelsey (L ~ 19 lbs. 10 1/2 oz. 29 in.) and Kaylee (R ~ 18 lbs. 11 1/2 oz. 29 in.)
TWO: Kelsey (L ~ 26 lbs. 9 oz. 34 in.) and Kaylee (R ~ 26 lbs. 1 1/2 oz. 34 in.)
so, that is it for the birthday post, i know, your probably thinking.....about time. sorry for all the pics, but i really wanted to include all of them. i am going to end this with some pics of the older two at chuck e cheese as well. please feel free to leave comments, i love to read them! thanks!

I just had to say I got such a kick out of the picture of the girls holding their babies. Too funny that Kayley was holding one and feeding the other, I know that method well, LOL!
Thanks so much for sharing the pics..I love to read and see all the pics..You have such a wonderful little family.Sorry I couldn't be there..Love, Aunt Joan
Stacy,
What great pictures! How long does it take you to upload them all? I still can't believe your girls are two.....they've pretty much caught up with each other, too. :) They were such great birth weights!
Such Cuties!!!
What a wonderful, HAPPY celebration! Your girls (your entire family, actually!) are gorgeous. Like Laura said, the "holding one and feeding the other" method is a well-known one to moms of twins. I may have stacked them once or twice, too, like Kelsey did (inadvertently, of course!). :)
Happy Birthday girls!!!! Stacy your family is adorable! I personally LOVE to look at your pictures so thank you for taking the time to put them up!
Where did you get that train at? I may have to get one of those for my boys when they are older. How fun that looks!
I too love the picture of the girls with the twin dolls. I actually have stacked my boys once when I had only one car seat and had to set one on top of the other to take Olivia to the bathroom while Michael was with the older 2 kids! LOL Olivia walks around with her twin bears that she has. It is hilarious what these kids pick up!
I LOVE the pic of Kaylee caring for the twins!! Its the best!!
How time flies, huh?? I'm so happy for you and your family. All of your children are beautiful. I loved the pic of the girls holding their baby dolls at the table. They are too cute!
