Kaylee, Caleb(boy i babysit), and Kelsey
sorry, once again i have gotten behind with the blogging. is there an excuse?? nope, none at all. i just honestly didn't make the time to update. anyway, i am happy to say that there really isn't anything to report, and for those regular readers, you know that this is a very seldom occurance in this house. on to the not very interesting news :)
the kids are on vacation this week and we have done absolutely nothing. we have stayed home these past two days which has been very nice. most of the days, we stayed in our pj's. that was great as it cut down on laundry!! :). the kids do not go back to school until feb. 27.
we got alot of snow a few days back and the kids were sooo excited. we received right around 13-14 in. in one storm. of course the excitement didn't last when we realized that it was way to cold to play in it. it has been below 0 for the past week. this week is supposed to be warmer. today hit about 20 and it should get a little bit warmer each day. so, now it will probably melt. oh well, that is the life in maine!
i will probably be bringing kaylee into the dr.s tomorrow. she has had a cough for about 4 days now and i have held off on bringing her in because i was really enjoying not having to go to the dr.s for the past 3 weeks (yes, you read that right, it has been three weeks!!!!). i have tried putting her on the nebulizer but i don't think it is doing it's job. i don't want to wait too long as she has already had pneumonia and being on the inh (for tb) lowers her immune system. so, tomorrow we will make the trek to the dr.s office.
well, that is about it. thanks to all who left comments, i truly do appreciate your taking the time to do so. i knew that the pictures of the girls holding their "twin" babies would be a hit with the twin parents. :). we know that the girls are more likely to have twins because they are twins, and this is very exciting to me, not because i want them to see what we went through, but because i think they are so much fun and i would love to have a pair of twin grandchildren (i know i am thinking ahead just a little :)) they are just practicing now. kaylee obviously has more of a grasp of the idea, although by your own admission, some of you have stacked as well....lol. probably i did too and have blocked that out of my memory.....lol. i have often wondered on those nights when the girls wake up sick, how did i do it for the first 4-5 mo. of feeding around the clock every 4 hrs. and that didn't include the burping between and the diaper changings and trying to get back to sleep. i don't know how i did it, but we made it through.
anyway, that is all for tonight. i hope you enjoyed the post. i will probably update again tomorrow only to let you know how kaylee's appt. went. have a good night!
