Doug participated in the firemens muster at the fair on sunday, the weather could have been better, but overall it wasn't too bad. it rained alomst all day, but never downpoured. as long as we didn't stay outside too long we didn't get too wet...lol. it really wasn't as bad as it sounds. all the kids got to go into the petting zoo and they loved that. it was the first time for the girls and i got some good pics:

It was a long day, we had to get the girls up (jordan and toya slept at grammy's) at 6:30 a.m. and they are not used to getting up till 9 a.m. By the time we were ready to leave the fair, the girls were sacked out. I couldn't resist taking this cute picture:

Okay, now the update on TB. The home health nurse came by today to talk with me. She says that Kaylee needs to be sent to Portland (the biggest city in Maine~i beleive). It is about 45 min. to an hour away. There is a pediatric dr. that specializes in TB in children there and she thinks that Kaylee needs to be seen. She informed me today of something new, it seems that in very rare cases the tb can skip the lungs and go right to the lymph nodes. it can affect many areas of the body. we were told by her dr. that because the lungs were clear that she did not have active tb, but apparently that is not necessarily true. it can still be active in her lymph nodes, but is not contagious. she thinks this could be the case because of her swollen lymph nodes. if that is the case then she will have to take 4 or 5 medications for the next 9 mo. instead of the one she is on now. i was told to stop giving her the meds until she sees the specialist because it could affect the test. she also said the way they will find out is to do a biopsy on the lymph nodes. i'm not too crazy about that, but if it means answers, i don't have a choice. I will keep everyone updated.
On a lighter note, i forgot to include this picture in the halloween at camp post. we were all standing up near the store for the costume judging and this car pulled up. at first i thought it was tom and sherry (doug's sister and brother in law), but when they got out, i didn't think it was. then i saw the kids get out of the car so i new it was them in costume (they were dressed as tourists). anyway, sherry went up to her mom and said "howdy", to which her mom replied "howdy", but you could tell she didn't know who she was talking to. when she realized it was her daughter, it was hilarious. i wish i had a picture of them out of costume, but i don't, so here is a picture of them dressed up:

Cute pics! Its really funny because we took our girls to "Baby Animal Day" at the local junior college this morning. I forgot the camera though.
I hope the specialist is able to shed some light on what's going on with your daughter.
